Some life drawings

Haven't posted any life drawings in a while, here are a couple good ones that I could find for now:

(We got to draw a Disney female character in the pose of the model. I chose Nani. She was so much fun to draw! It's pretty challenging since Chris Sanders has a really distinct and unique style of drawing, but I learnt lots).

Trying out some colours, ow yeah.

Also, today is the last day of class (bring it on, Christmas!). This break might not feel like a break at all, with the tons of stuff we still need to do for our film. Regardless, I would have some time to relax and make a bunch of presents. I'm so happy. Gonna practice some more, huzzah!

P.S Apparently Vimeo seems to cut off some of the frames... His hands are not supposed to look like that in the beginning. Oh well.

Dog study, and some life drawing

We currently did a dog study in life drawing class. Here is my rendering of the skeleton and muscles:

I'm not sure what this dog is (probably a chihuahua? It was a small skeleton) but i made the face looks like a completely different dog. Oh well.

During this summer I didn't do much, so I went to a life drawing class in a community centre almost every week. It was pretty good, but it has more long poses that anything so I didn't get much gestures.

I was trying to use different mediums instead of always using pencil and conte, so I grabbed some ink and coloured markers. It was a good experience, I like how it turned out.
